Yes, I was going to mention this. It is quite possible to see things without being aware of seeing it. A lot of processing goes into vision before the info makes it to consciousness and  a lot of editing goes on too (like how you don't see the blur when you shift your gaze).

There is even a condition known as blind-sight in which an individual looses the ability to "see" consciously but can navigate around objects in a room without touching them.
