I've tried installing it on my A4000D with CS 060 MKII 128MB and CV64 3D. I've also got a deneb card, so I'm running amikit off an SD card via a card reader. I followed the installation on a real amiga instructions on the Amikit web site, but they didn't work for me. I'm not sure if it was because of something I did wrong or if it had something to do with my hardware configuration. I got it working (sort of) after reworkign the startup-sequence for setpatch to work. Even so I've still got problems booting and it doesn't recognise my IDE DVD-Rom drive as CD0: I think this is because IDEFIX is not running, which I need because I am running SFS on an 80GB hard drive.

Performance wise its alot slower than under UAE and its visibly slower than OS3.9.

How have you configured your startup-sequence?

Weed.

I sitll can not ctach your point of loading it off an SD card / card reader. IS there a way you can boot from the SD card on early-boot menu? That would be cool.

If you install poseidon in the flash rom of the Deneb card you can boot off the SD card via a card reader. I dsable DH0: (boot partition) using HDToolbox. I installed the SD card with Fast File system from OS3.9 and formatted it on the amiga, I then transferred it to my PC and copied Amikit to it from within UAE. I then transferred the SD card back to the Amiga and after a bit of fiddling it worked. I have replaced Picasso96 within Amikit with the native Amiga version (from aminet) and copied my settings across from my real Amiga. It works but not without hitches - ie my DVD-RW doesn't show (I have CD0 in devs/dosdrivers) but it still doesn't show.  I also haven't tried to get internet working yet, I have an X-Surf board and am running Miami on my real Amiga.

I am on vacation at the moment so won't be able to fiddle with it until I get back home (2 weeks).
