Network Boot disk ncftp questions
« on: February 23, 2009, 03:41:05 AM »
Thanks to all of you who helped me get my networking card working on my A600. :)

Ok, I have the network boot disk from here:

http://jpv.wmhost.com/NetworkBootDisk/

I have just a couple questions about ncftp in it so I can do stuff.

1. How do I download (transfer) a file to my HDD when I have logged into an ftp server with ncftp?

2. Is there a way I can install the Network Boot Disk onto the HDD, so when I load workbench, I can double-click, and it will load with all settings?

Thank you very much,

Circlip.

Thanks guys, yes the network is up and running, and I actually uploaded what I wanted to to the miggy via an ftp client. I also managed to do it the other way round, pc as ftp server, and Amiga as client.

But... why do the files not show up in workbench? I can list them in CLI, but workbench doesn't show a folder or files??

Directory Opus, cool. I've heard of that. Available for stock Amiga 600?
