Well I understand that you are frustrated, but Kickrom and OS 3.1 is at least the configuration everybody as now.
I would buy OS3.9 with Kickrom for the A3000 from Softhut. (perhaps they have os3.1 with the kickrom for the A3000) AND a cd-rom is also a must have. 3.9 is on cd (3.1 is on six 880KB disks)
