well I'm biased but the A1000 IS the Amiga before Commodore tainted it!
today we can upgrade the Fast Ram to 8MB and also use IDE drives as DHO's:drink:(check out the new hardware goodies from kipper & others at Amibay), not to mention the great flicker fixer by Jens for those that don't have their old monitors anymore.
nothing against the A3000 but the for me it doesn't have the historical respect and Ferrari like mystique that the 1000 has.
