Ok wow.  NOTHING has been officially put out that the original Indivision AGA will no longer be supported!  Jens, of all people, does not work that way.

Please realize that for a one man show, he is doing some amazing stuff.  Also, keep in mind that he has several projects going on at the same time.

So, if a firmware update doesn't show up after a while, even a long while, it does NOT equal drop in support...

Perhaps this has given people the impression that Jens won't be supporting the
Indivision MK I anymore:

Just a question, there will be any firmware updates for the original Indivision
AGA?

There's currently no bug that I'm aware of - no update planned for those units.
If you're asking for Graffiti support: Unfortunately, that's impossible with the
kind of FPGA used (too small, not enough memory).

Does this screenmode need the Graffiti firmware to work?

Still, I wonder what exactly was holding up the screen mode.
I PMed Ratte in hopes to get his input on all this since he seems to be closer to the project them I am.

Regardless, that stinks that the FPGA on the MK-I is too small for the Graffiti core. :(

I dont think that superplus need any graffity mode, ratte have the superplus working a year ago at least just waiting for a fw, but abbandon of mk1 is cristal clears...

Maybe I'm just miss understanding your wording.  To me "abandon" means to totally dump and no longer support.  It sounds like Jens might just be done doing firmware updates.

That sounds more like he has maxed out it's ability, but it doesn't mean he will no longer support it.  It could be that he finds some more useful things while working on "Version 2" that could be put into the original.  I can totally see Jens doing a firmware for that.

Back to your point though.  If Ratte had superplus working already, then what firmware specific addition was he waiting for?  I PMed him earlier so I hope he can pop on and shed some light on this for us.
