Biggest mistake?

So I broke down and got the SD/FF from Eyetech which IS the Scan Magic.  Said it was for A1200/A4000 and I, stupidly went ahead and got it.  why do I say stupidly?  Look at my tag... A4000T.

The instructions don't say anything abo. a A4000T installation, infact it only has written instructions for the A1200 and a photo copied picture of a A4000 MoBo that says "Fitting to A4000".  I looked at the manual on the Big Book site and that had a bit more info but it doesn't look good...

Tell me strait up, am I screwed?

I ther such a thing as a riser for that style of chip?  I MIGHT be able to pull it off is I could get the clip on the Lisa to sit higher.

Also, the "NTSC/PAL" jumper sits right between the two...  Prob. just snip thise down and solder the connection for NTSC.

tankz but from the other post it doesn't look to good.

At this point I'd be willing to trade for an internal sollution that would work in a A4000T or and External that does AGA.  Mine is the Scan Magic so it IS a SD/FF and it's brand new too...

If you could send a diagram or inf on how you did your I MIGHT be able to do it myself...

OK STAND BACK!!!!!  I've got a dremmel and know how to use it !!!!!!!

And it looks like the only sollution I have too.

UNLESS!!!!!

Is there any one out there who would trade me for a SD/FF that WOULD work on the A4000T?  My scan majic is brand new and unused.  I'll wait till wed. for any responses... If no takers by thursday, it's hackin' time!!!!!!!

It's a Scandy In from Micronik for the videoslot. It works, but I can't remember if it has flicker fixing. It's an offer anyway, but I doubt you'll take me up on it :-)


;)  I looked it up on the BBoAH and your right, it doesn't Flicker fix.  I DO apreciate the offer though and other wise would have been a perfect fix!
