I use my Amiga for web site development as well but I have RTG. I use ImageFX, TVPaint, and PPaint for graphics. Each has their advantages and disadvantages.

Have you considered getting a PCMCIA network card? Then you could use smbfs which works great here. I can copy between my Amiga and laptop directly and quickly. The latest version is NOT on aminet...

I use FTPmount to copy to the web site via FTP. It creates a FTP device. Very convenient...
