http://www.fatcat.vispa.com/keyring/Miami Deluxe is a TCP/IP (Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol) stack and is the essential software a computer needs to go on the internet. Most modern operating systems have TCP/IP stack built in, and indeed AmigaOS 3.9 has Genesis, but many people prefer to use Miami Deluxe as it has some features Genesis (and AmiTCP which it's based on) doesn't have, as well as a very comprehensive and user-friendly GUI and wizard for setting up.
