Some have SVHS Out others don't.
They used two different types of memory as well
SGRAM and SDRAM on the boards.
Introduced some compatibility problems.
The Voodoo 3 3000 is faster than the Voodoo 3 2000

You could always stick your 8500 in your A1...
I got mine working with the latest uboot update.

Yes or plugging into a VCR
Make sure you get the composite addaptor phono cable as well. The bloke who i bought mine of on ebay auctioned it seperatly.

They changed the RAM because of problems.
Mediator has problems with the olderones as well IIRC.
They're is some info about it in my Voodoo3 box I'll PM / Email it you what it says when i get home tonight.
