8375 are newer versions of what? What Amigas work with them?

No it's isn't, don't even try it.

However 8375 318069-03 is pin compatible with 8372B 318069-03 and I've actually tried one in my A3000D, no problems whatsoever.

I don't know how else to prove it to you without blowing up one of my machines and sending you a video or picture.

8375 (390544-xx) is not pin compatible with 8375/8372AB/8372B (318069-xx).
