Escom 1D4 (factory fixed) also works fine with the Apollo cards. Make sure you have juice going to the floppy connector, otherwise it may not boot or act flaky/crash when it's cold.

Seems it may depend. :/ Mine (which I purchased new) always worked flawlessly with any expansion I threw at it. It wasn't until I had the board out for other reasons that I discovered it was already "fixed". Anyway, if necessary it's a pretty simple procedure to mod a 1D4 board (just remove 2 SMT caps, details here.) I haven't run mine with a PCI expansion, but I've had an overclocked Apollo, IDE-Fix Express, Prelude clockport card and PCMCIA wireless card all working together just fine.
