That depends on what you actually call an "Amiga".

For me, the last Amiga released was the A4000T, the others are simply spin-off solutions and marketing BS.
Others believe that the SAM and that this forthcoming X-1000 are Amigas too.

I fail to see their point. But then the choice is yours, and you may happily disagree.

If it smells like chicken...be carefull it might be something else

Linux is NOT Unix, although one was built following the concepts of the other
ReactOS is NOT Windows, although one was built following the concepts of the other
OS4 is NOT AmigaOS, although one was built following the concepts of the other
SAM/X1000 is NOT an Amiga, although... well although Hyperion can use AmigaOS and AmigaOne name (I was going to put the concepts of the other, but it happens it doesnt share any concept at all of the Amiga)

So people, if you think the SAM/X1000 is great, and OS4 is great, then go along and use it.
But please dont be fooled, it is not an Amiga.

No, an Amiga can run Linux/NetBSD/OpenBSD or whatever and still perfectly be an Amiga

It is not really what it runs, but what it is.

Maybe you got mixed up with the different concepts of AmigaOS and Amiga, one meaning the Operating System, and the other the hardware!
