In my experience you have to be choosy with monitors and VGA adaptors (not scandoubled). I've
tried Compaq and HP CRT screens on mine and they can't sync to the Amiga refresh rate. On the other hand Philips CRTs work fine. I'm guessing that flat screens are even more choosey about what you feed them. These problems would probably disappear with a scandoubler.
