If they would have the objective to actually make some money with Amiga Inc, they would have already fired him years ago.
On the Netventures site it sounds as if they actually wanted Amiga to develop, albeit with a different order of steps / with a different set of priorities from the current user base..
From their point of view, McEwen might be doing a relatively good job. Or, didn't they ask him to become the CEO again after a while? They may not have found a suitable replacement. Nobody knows.
Of course the big question is what their plans wrt. the OS4 branch are. Or indeed if they have any. Come on, let's have a little Executive Update. Afterwards we can still all unite behind AROS.
