Amiga Forever is the most painless was of setting up WinUAE on a PC you can imagine. Everything you need is included, plus multiple pre-configured hard drive installations meaning you can boot into OS1.3, OS3.1+, Amikit, Amisys, wtc by just selecting from a menu (or build your own custom configuration).
I've recently used it for prepping hard drives for my A4000. I've put a removable 3.5" drive rack in my PC and A4000 and I use Amiga Forever to mount the 3.5" drive, format it as an Amiga drive, copy over the installation (ClassicWB) and then drop it into my real Amiga. I've also used it for prepping Hard Drive Files for my Minimig v1.1, FPGA Arcade and Chameleon64.
It's worth every penny in my opinion.
Oh, and it also contains a program called "Amiga Explorer" for linking your Amiga and your PC via a null-modem cable across your serial ports. I've only ever tried it once as I use USB flash drives myself.
