Pancake-like, aka FLAT.  Pancakes are FLAT or they are not pancakes, hence the term 'flat as a PANCAKE'.

Like bacon.  It is only supposed to be served bacony, aka CRISP.  It is improper any other way.

Now, let's all go to George Webb's!!!

Real bacon comes from Usinger's.  Plain and simple :-)

I would not be surprised to find that the smoke particle content of Usinger's bacon is higher than the fat content.  It's far meatier than that picture of Aussie bacon.  I don't know where you got your bacon here, I've never seen one like the one in your picture.

Nice iron!!

I am tempted to put some Usinger's on mine and take a picture.  But, it's too expensive, and reserved for Sunday mornings.

And, unless something's changed in the past few years, Oscar Meier badged products are all produced about 60 miles to the west of here on Packer Avenue.  (really stinks around there)

Safeway or Coles

That's the problem.  All we have round here are Pick'N Save, Piggly Wiggly, and Sentry.  Oh, and SupperWallMart, but I don't go there.
