it's still a long way to market for this.. looks interesting, nothing as exsiting as the origional amiga launch but O.k. for the hobbiest/tinker market.  Might be interesting once they get an OS.

what would do with the new amiga in post production?  there is no OS let alone software, it will be years before you could do anything practical with this lump of hardware. Let's just face it the amiga no longer has an edge....

build OS5 on QNX, why? QNX is aready a very good os with out anything "built on it", this is just retarded.
anybody that has paid ANY attention over the last 10 20 years would have learned this.  

1,)propriatary hardware is a bad idea
2,)open source OS prevent idiots (like a-inc) from holding you hostage!

the answer about why QNX and the "proposed" new amiga run on the same hardware is a SIMPLE one to answer..... becasue there is no NEW amiga.. it's just some random hardware they can sell to morons. Duh. What you think they made a new computer form scratch?  why?

I totaly disagree with you on this.  Yes the OSX question is a good one.. why BSD is a fine OS, the only issue is that apple can't sell it to you.
I run QNX, it has a simple GUI thats why its good it's not bloated with visual crap.
Lastly No the amigaOS was never the best OS, don't get me wrong, it a good one but not the best.  I think solaris or iri x where much better than amigaOS at the time. Today unbuntu or fedora core smoke amigaOS (and osx) IMHO.
It's o.k to be into the amiga but it was by no means the best OS ever. Thats just silly.
