MorphOS users.. do you like your OS?

I have used morphOS a little bit and found it to be great!  I think it's just what the doctor ordered.  It's mature and robust.   I want to hear form morphOS users and find out if anybody who bought a peg now thinks they suck of does not like the morph and needs OS4.  Becasue to me there is no point in fighting over this os4 (cool as it may be) given we have a winner with morphOS.

most interested in people that HAVE used it.  Sounds like there are some issues on claasic hardware...
I have yet tohear anybody who has regreted getting a peg or somebody that did not like the morph once they did it running.

LOL, I love my 4000 also, though your PSU mod was well done....
I might be interested in your peg, you sound to take good care of your hardware!  You want to keep it becasue it is KEWL!
I have a question, how well does the peg run classic games?

I think you can boot if from 3.9 after you copy it.  Not sure.  AZs you know my PPC card is toast.

so far it sounds like morph works well for most users and can even work on some classic models.... So even once INC fails (I know they will) and hyperion looses (they might) who cares. there is already a new OS that works well and suits the community... I think we should be thankfull that genisi did this for us.  I respect that they don;t want to work with inc or hyperion... why should they work with amatures? I will support the morph team and I do urge them to get this OS working other CPU types IF possible!

Not everbody will be happy all the time... there is no perfect world but it would appear that the next gen amiga OS has been released quite a while ago and any lamenting by bill m is just sour grapes from a looser and has no impact on the community. The community does not need (many don't want) Inc.  I suggest we ignore them.  If they come back with a working os4 that is better than morph they can sell it and find out who cares.  But to suggest that we need them or that they are important into days amiga market is a lie. There is no need to give them 20 question or special attention.  There patents are to old to matter anymore. Just so you guys know I don;t see red and blue I just see thing sthat work and things that don't... it's all amiga to me.

to be fair you can't use the peg to do video editing.  the problem is there is NO software for either morph OR os4.

IMHO the 4000T is a way more usefull machine, you should not have let yours go.

OS3.9 is still the best amiga OS out there, just becasuse all the hardware and software you can run.

Just based on what YOU said here, I have to disagree with that, try to run PAR + capture on OS4.


morph is more compleat and actauly available, I'm not usre what I would call OS4 at this point.

It's obvious, MOS is better than OS4, there is more hardware and software to run.
