How to install HD for Amiga CDTV?
you need to install an SCSI card and have the harddrive mounted externally. (Unless you find a 2.5" SCSI drive or want to squeze the drive between the memory card holder board and the midi board under the motherboard.. which is what I do)
I use Amitrix's SCSI-TV card and it works great.
If you have £150 you could keep an eye out on Ebay for the original CDTV harddrive upgrade which is cool but they are very rare and you would be bidding against me. :-)
Is there ready IDE controller on board like in A1200?
No, the 40 pin headder the CD-Rom drive is attached to is a MKE interface and not IDE.
