U know i dont think it comes down to comparing prices with G5's and such, I think for me at least its the fact that for the last who knows how long all we've recieved from Amiga is getting burned and the occasional announcement to get the community excited and giving money to Amiga. Honestly, how much have you received from Amiga in the last 5 yrs thats worth a darn, maybe a T-shirt if you were lucky enough, but hey that cost you only $100.00 and a coupon that hasnt been useable and honestly prob wont be in the near future.
