All I know is the waste product they sell as "bacon" isn't bacon shaped, it's a rectangular piece of fat with almost no meat content, sort of like streaky bacon but with even less meat. The stuff should be sold with a defibrillator. Real bacon is mostly meat, has a round end to it and is served soft. Real bacon looks a lot like ham. Real bacon is not a slab of fat fried beyond recognition.

(The American bacon is an approximation as I couldn't bring it to Australia, something about importing toxic waste...)
