ok thanks, i've checked that and i don't seem to have an "installer" file on C: or in Utilities. (There is an "Install" file in C but is that something different?)
So do i need to install an installer file into C:
Where do i get an OS 3.9 installer file from?
Do you think that the person who has installed this OS 3.9 on the hard drive has only managed half a job?!
http://aminet.net/package/util/misc/Installer-43_3This is the Installer for AmigaOS3.1 you can copy it to your C: drawer, it should work. And ensure that there are no other older "installer" files in your utilities or tools directory.
The 3.9 installer can be found on the AmigaOS3.9 CD which can be bought from various Amiga shops.
