Amiga Inc appear dead, dead, dead. History has shown us McBill likely only licensed the name and trademark from Gateway. Why doesn't someone (company) approach Gateway for a license now that Amiga Inc are (apparently) completely insolvent and dead as a door nail?

Yeah, hopefully AInc. is dead, but their website being down doesn't mean they are gone for certain. Unfortunately the only person left who might give some insight into whether they are really dead or not, Jamie Krueger, isn't talking.

It's time this brand name stopped suffering abuse. People talk about the "Amiga curse" saying that whoever touches the brand is doomed to failure, but I look at it the other way around - the Amiga brand has been cursed with a flock of failure companies. It would be nice if some conservatory group would buy it out and treat the Amiga for what it was: a great 80's computer. The C64 still has plenty of street cred in this regard.
