PSP UAE I don't think can run on versions of the firmware later than 1.50. There are some launchers that use exploits that may enable it to run on a 2.82 but I'm not sure what the software called.
I ended up downgrading my PSP back to 1.50 and using the
devhook package to emulate upto 3.02 PSP for my UMD games that require it. This then keeps the homebrew stuff working.
However if you go down this road be careful because you have to check your PSP hardware version can safely do this. You can end up with a bricked PSP which ain't good.
