A2500...
« on: March 25, 2013, 12:41:00 AM »
Recently acquired an A2000 and a A2500 and really never thought much of the A2000's just being big, not really attractive etc.. but have since have a new fondness for the beasts..

And they are loaded with several good upgrades.. :
A2500:
DKB 2632..
GVP A2000-HC+8
Supra Corp SupraRAM 2000 (8meg)
Super Denise
2meg Agnes..
A2320 Display Enhancer

A20000:
Supra Corp 68K ACCELERATOR (An oddly shaped card, never seen before, sits horizontal
in the slot, see pic).

**just adding pics..
***added one more..

@ Vlabguy1

Congrats on the find! I'd be interested to hear how you get on with the DKB 2632. I got one in a 2500 I acquired and it's very, very unstable. Hope you have better luck with yours!

I will keep you posted..on the 2632..

Thank you, I appreciate the compliment.

i miss my a2000, i had the alfa data ide controller, 420mb drive, 1mb agnus, a flickerfixer, scsi card, cdrom, csa derringer 030 50mhz with 32mb ram. and the 2.04 roms
miss it
want to build up another amiga soon.

i received a c128 2 months ago, just booting that up, got a sd card for it, pretty slick.
have it hooked up to my 24in monitor.

You will end up liking the 2000/2500 a lot. I still have two. The one I use most has a GVP '030 with a total of 24Mb RAM running OS 3.5. Mine has the Micrway AGA FF/SD. It is a very stable machine.
I hope you have the newer version mobo in yours - that helps a LOT!

So far I'm liking it...

Anyone need anything scanned, lol.. check the new pic..
