That is great...but after all that typing you don't include the actual problem and or what components needed to fixed/replaced..mmm.. Kind of weak, imo.

Resoldering the 060- socket apparently did the trick with the dead CSPPC. I actually had a similar problem with another CSPPC a few years ago, it was sent for service to JJ at Amiga Center in france then.

As I understand, there was no problem with the PPC as I had first thought. I didn't ask for more specifics, I was just happy he got it working again.

For the dead CSPPC:
* 060 socket resoldering - 40€
* 68060/50 overclocked to 66Mhz - 65€
* PPC604e/350 overclocked to 367Mhz - 250€

Best thing with his service is he is in constant contact during the whole process, uploading pictures, mails etc so you always know whats happening.


Hey no worries..on the weakness..hehe its all good.  Just curious where are you located?
