In the US, you cannot charge extra to cover PayPal fees.  I have confirmed this several times with both eBay and PayPal (one in the same now.)  I'd guess this has something to do with credit card companies' requirements for the same.

But eBay's feedback system has been updated to include a rating system for things like packaging, shipping costs, etc.  It's too bad that someone's negative feedback cannot be overruled because of sheer stupidity.  I'm holding steady at 100%, mostly buying, but I'm sure that will drop once I run into one of these morons.

I just hope idiots like that don't cause people to lose faith... we need people pushing their Amiga wares so others can benefit!

Most people put a flat-rate postage designed to cover postage and handling.  Other will say things like "buyer pays actual shipping costs," which I do when I have extra boxes laying around and use my UPS account to ship.  Some will say "actual shipping + x".

The few others which say "shipping determined after auction" should be mitigated by eBay's shipping calculator, or not bought from, period.

I use eBay's shipping methods and calculator, which is usually dead-on, in my auctions.  If I offer Priority Mail or UPS, then I use eBay's options for these.  It only takes a few extra seconds to set up and doesn't cost extra.  Aside from that, eBay has a space where you can include extra handling charges.
