I have to say that I'm fairly disappointed with the expectation on Amiga pricing.  There are far too many people who want more than fair value, and apparently enough people who will pay it.

Leaves people like myself out in the dust.  Why pay US$750+ for a CyberStorm PPC when for a bit more I can get a full AOS4-compatible system used, or (I believe) about double for brand spanking new...

Of course, if I can still get a brand spanking new AOS4 system.  I guess at this point I'm just waiting for the new hardware to be available.  Is it?

Far too many people let eBay set the standard.  First off, eBay can be manipulated -- it's not legitimate, but it happens.  And secondly, there are other markets than eBay.  When I see items end for prices higher than dealer pricing, I get a chuckle.

Look back through the forums here and you'll see plenty of Craigslist posts of Amiga equipment for MUCH better than eBay pricing.  Granted, some are more as well.  Unfortunately, I don't see much on this side of the Mississippi much, all of the good stuff seems to be in Cali.
