AROS to drop Amiga from it's acronym

Amiga Research Operating System  to become AROS Research Operating System


According to Amiga-News, Aaron Digulla said the name "Amiga" would be deleted from the project name because of the legal steps of Amiga Inc. done against Hyperion.

"AROS - The AROS Research Operating System"

Writing Replacement instead of research was done out of unconsciousness, as Dammy said it, once the R on AROS stood for replacement

Well Amiga Inc had contacted AROS in the past and never defended it... and they have to, they might lost it otherwise...
