As i said in the thread about this, the dead line was far to short, it should have been a month or two. People don't always have that sort of money to spare and need time to save up.
And as MetalJoe said, magazines etc need time to print it. Take
Total Amiga, they only come out once a quarter, so for them anything less then 3 months means it is pointless to publish it.
Anyway, what I don't understand, why not let it run till the OS4 is (almost) finished? Wouldn't that give a better idea of who wants one? Any time limit is abertary anyway.
