There seem to be a lot of haters of the a600 style box, but after having owned them all, I actually LOVED the a600 case and only just recently sold it. It was not flimsy and the idea to just pick it up, pop it in your bag and roll anywhere with it was great.
It sucked becuse it was a low spec machine, but I guarentee that if it had voodoo, 060, and standard monitor output, it might have sold off the shelves.
With that said I would like to see the following:
A3000 style - Number one choice
A1200 - cheaper than a laptop since it won't have a screen that I don't currently need, is portable so I can take it to work and wherever a vga or dvi plug is. For the low price I can have multiple and reuse existing monitors and lcds, I'm positive someone would come up with an optional attachable screen for portability later.
Finally the A600 case. You haters just need to feel this puppy. It's actually really a cool size and design. Crappy internals, but just go with USB and firewire for ports, and DVI,ADC, or VGA for video. No need for stupid parallel, serial, and floppy ports.
