I have an old 10Base-t / 14.4 modem PCMCIA card, its made by Megerhertz (called the em1144t or something), it works okay with Linux, haven't tried with Aos, you think it would work?

I don't have my amiga with me, but next time I go to my parents house I'm gonna have a play, see If it will work with my miggy. :-D

@ -d-

I have a 512kbps down & 256kbps up ADSL line, and I get anything between 50kbps to 180kbps down it through my router to any of the PC's on my network, which is about right, with the usual speed being 60kbps ish.

With ADSL the bandwith you subscribe for has a contention ratio, the ration is 50:1 for my pipex bundle which means I share my 512kbps down & 256kbps up line with up to 50 other users, so if a lot of people in your area have ADSL (the most on your line would be 50) you would get about 50kbps.

Most packages are 50:1 (or 20:1 for business bundles) contention.
