These kind scammers don't KNOW E-mailadresses, they just GUESS them.

I've had the same thing a few months ago when I placed some bids on an A4000 on Ebay. Before the auction ended I got an E-mail from some scam artist, but not on the address I use for Ebay.

How's this possible? Very easy: my Ebay username is McVenco, and I also have a Hotmail address with that name. I received the scam on that hotmail address, though my Ebay address is something else.

Finally: they're not aiming specifically on Amiga, they just look at auctions with high prices.
