I agree!  Wish I could afford a new X1000... but I just priced it and it's over $3000 US!

This is what frustrates me about the PowerPC / Proprietary path that things went.  It just costs too much to get current.

Someday maybe... perhaps a used AmigaONE or something for me... but I'd prefer the X1000 or newer :)

Interesting... the auction appears to have been reset?  No explanation that I could find either.

The price is now at approx a brand new X-1000!
