I love my A1200. I love just tinkering with the OS, playing older games and some newer ones too, and have also recently discovered demos for the first time. So I really enjoy the Classic Amiga experience.
However, I have recently been thinking about getting a Pegasos. I think I like the idea of getting a new "Amiga". I know the Pegasos is not really an Amiga, but the OS is Amiga-like and I have heard great things about it. However, I would obviously lose the ability to use my Classic software.
What I am thinking is that I could use the Pegasos as a fast Amiga-like system for surfing and general tinkering, and get UAE running on it for games. If I have a different UAE config for each game, I could have it automatically start the game when I double click the icon in MorphOS. That way it would be pretty transparent that UAE is being used, and it would be just like running a WHDLoad game.
Any input on the pros and cons of using a Pegasos as a Classic Amiga replacement would be appreciated!
