My Website doesn't Update
« on: September 04, 2004, 06:45:52 PM »
OK, I got myself a usable FTP client and uploaded a revised home page. Problem is, my website still shows the old page.

Yes, I checked that it's in the right place and even downloaded the 'new' page and tried it as a local file.

Everything works fine in that mode.

I renamed the IE cache and tried again to no avail.

Any obvious answer to it?

Cheers,

JaX

Hmmm...

I never had this problem with my Amiga/AmiTradeCenter.

I simply did my monthly update using a pc, so I don't think it can be an ISP proxy thing can it?

Using '?' after the URL of my home page makes no difference.

Anyone?

Cheers,

JaX

@LinchpiN

My home page is here.

It should refer to the September 2004 edition, but it doesn't. If I download the file and run it locally it's fine.

Thanks for looking.

@LinchpiN

Thanks for your advice, but exactly how do I 'flush' my webspace and what does it achieve?

Cheers,
