External Genlock wanted
« on: December 28, 2010, 09:34:41 PM »
If you've got one collecting dust in your closet, I'd like the use of it.

Stands to reason that when you need one, none show up on Ebay, and the guy selling one on Craigslist is asking too much. I can pay with money order, and check. Thanks.

I don't need it too soon thankfully. Its a project for a friend who spends his time on an Aircraft carrier on long deployments.

Any difference between NTSC and PAL genlocks that I should be aware of?

Thanks Michael! The GVP looks quite nifty. It certainly looks like something I could best use. I already have a Toaster 4000 board, but no software or anything else that would make it useful.

My friends project is not connected to the Navy, but his railroad hobby and his YouTube channel which I've helped out on using DeluxePaint.

I like the idea of having a DCTV Castellen. Any excuse to play with Amiga is a good idea. I'll PM you.

How cute. I've been contacted by someone in Germany about his genlock. He says that he hasn't turned it on in 15 years (no computer, so of course he can't test it), it had problems then, he's never posted on the forum before, says that he's unlikely to post much at all, and wants $70.

What a deal.
