The whole of Aminet has "recently crossed the 30 GB barrier" (Quote from Aminet). Puts things into perspective a bit.
Then there's probably 5GB of games (commercial and PD). Everything else that exists besides probably takes it up to 50GB at most.
With 2TB you could store a lot of digital music, or photo's. He doesn't necessarily want to strictly store Amiga stuff. He could want to store all of his digital camera photo's. That would be a good idea, as I'd personally trust my data on an Amiga more than any other computer.

Well depends on how you look at it, the latest Amiga CD tosec is 234GB large when compressed, the Amiga cd coverdisk tosec is 103GB compressed, the Amiga CD Compilations tosec is 100GB etc.
I have Amiga related stuff filling 2x 2TB drives containing all Amiga related I can get my hands on from software, games (including cracked software and original), scans of manuals, boxarts, schematics etc, TV commercials, magazines, music etc the list is long.

So Amiga related materials is aplenty and a lot is viewable from a Amiga :) But software wise you wont fill near 2TB that's true.
