Also I have no idea whether those could ever be published - or if indeed there is a way of obtaining any sort of perimission from the current copyright owners. Sigh...

Alenppc: I'm in the same boat as you. A few years ago, I scanned in almost all of my Amiga magazines. (I keep finding a few more in out-of-the-way boxes ;-) ) A friend found me an old scanner with a document feeder, so I ran them through fairly quickly. That scanner is pretty much shot now too.  I sent a lot of dead trees back to the recycler. ;-)  For most of them, the publishers are long gone, although IDG (AmigaWorld) is still around. At least that's the case for the US magazines.

I'd like to make them available, but for that copyright... someone must still own them, and starting to sell them would be the quickest way to find them... and their lawyers. ;-)

You can bet your bottom doller that if you published them they would all appear out of the woodwork with lawyers in tow!

Yeah, that's unfortunately true. It's sad though, since a lot of the publishers of the old Atari magazines have allowed their magazines to be posted on the web.
