It's just fine and you're right about it.
Only disadvantage over CF is the size that's the same as an 2.5" IDE HD!

Btw... you should learn to edit posts instead of posting 1 line after another post :D

Sure? I thought not, seeing the size of the 44 pins in the card

Pretty sure mate.
Check a normal 2.5" HD

...plus the screw holes under your SSD are the standard holes for mounting them.

As for speed...
I have never seen in my Amigas a speed test over 9.3MB/s and that's with BPPC's SCSI --> IDE via an ACard Bridge. HD is an 16GB CF.
Ofc with an UWSCSI HD on a Cyberstorm you could get a better performance... but NOTHING more than you can get with these SSDs.

For A1200's native IDE... I wouldn't expect something more than 2-3MB/s (without FastATA or Idefix Express) but even with the fastest IDE = (theoretically) FastATA.... I would be very surprised if you would succeed in achieving the MAX transfer rate at a PIO5 mode by using this SSD!

Yep, at least I believe so mate. I haven't seen speed over 16.4MB/s tbh, but then again, I never actually tried a real 10k SCSI drive to my former CSPPC's UWSCSI bus to be sure :)
AFAIK you'll be just fine with this SSD for every setup available (whether you'll insert it to an ACard SCSI to IDE Bridge, or use it plain IDE in Native/FastATA/Idefix Express)
