Optical mouse for my A4k
« on: November 28, 2003, 08:00:11 PM »
I'm tired of all the old badly working mice I've had for my A4k. Buttons that doesn't work, buttons that works to well, balls that get stuck and so on... the only Amiga-mouse I've ever been happy with was the one that cam with my A500 from 1987.

On the CP I've spoiled myself with an optical mouse from logitech and I just love it, so I would like to have one for my A4k as well.

What's the easiest and/or cheapest way to make this possible?

It's a "standard" A4kD with cv64/3d, ariadne II, MFC-III and a CS Mk-II 040.
No mediator or other pci board. Not so sure I want to get one either.

It´s not a Logitech one, just a boring looking Amiga mouse with at the bottom an open space for a optical thing ... it doesn´t have any blue colour with golden dots on it, it´s just plain white ...

Eh, an open space for a optical thing? Care to elaborate! :)

I don't really care what it looks like as long as it works!

but you could just get a PS/2 mouse adapter from Eyetech and use the PS/2 to USB adapter that comes with the mouse to hook it up

That's exactly what I need, not to expensive either. Thanx :)

And Patrik! You should know that I'm not the building kinda person ;)
