I use it and you have to set the bootdevice like it's said in the text of the startup-sequence itself. There's a literally written example of how to use it.

Read the whole text carefully because you have to edit some parts. Also you can try to use the idehack version of module.com1 instead of the normal one.

I use SFS too. When the bootloader resets the Amiga the screen stays black for a while and then the butterfly logo should appear.
