Can't tell from the picture, but does that have buttons on the base as well? The Epyx XJ500 does have button on the side. I can't stand buttons just on the stick itself-- it just makes things difficult for some games especially on Atari Donkey Kong where you have to move the stick and jump independently and with good timing.
The Python doesn`t have the base buttons.
When 'Game' stopped doing Amiga they had shelves of these Pythons and I must have bought two dozen. All but about three are now busted cus of Sensi World of Soccer.
To be honest most games I like are mouse based except Sensi. For arcade stuff I use a gamepad. Joysticks were pretty unresponsive and broke far too easily. I also didn`t like stick control. Here are a selection of joysticks that I have... I have a whole load more in an old TV box which must be easily 3ft sqr. I just don`t use them.
