i had one of those. (Micronik kit that took the A1200 keyboard into a separate case)
it (the controller board) fried very quickly..

i got some other device that sat on top of the chip on the motherboard and use an old AT keyboard..

i have an A2000 keyboard here that i'd be happier using though..
