Video of Jeri Ellsworth @ Chicago C= Expo 2000
« on: January 13, 2010, 12:14:11 AM »
Deep from the coffers of RB Productions comes another historical video - Jeri Ellsworth at the Chicago Commodore Expo 2000. She was making her first presentation of the C64 24-bit graphics board, which eventually became the CommodoreOne (which became the C1 and can run a Minimig core).

See other renown Commodorians at the presentation, too -- Dave "Snogpitch" Witmer, Dale Sidebottom (who is doing most of the questioning), Steve Grassman, Per Olofsson, Linda Tanner, Ryan Czerwinski, Nate Dannenberg, Raymond Day, Steve Judd, and the voice of Roger Lawhorn.

For some reason, I couldn't find the original Digital 8 tape of the presentation but found a VHS copy (?!?!). The VHS copy was converted, and the presentation is now posted at

Hey, did I catch you in the background of the video?

I remember that expo, because he ended up at my table when we all went out for dinner afterwards.

:)  He was quite a character.  Dave, I'll have to look at the video more closely to see if you are in the background, too.  :)

I have no inside information, just an educated guess since based on what I have heard in the 8bit community.

From the Homestead mailing list, Nov. 12, 2009 --

My license agreement has expired with Mark Fellows and until I sign a new agreement, I cannot produce any new CMD products. I can finish up the orders I have, which is what I intend to do. I also intend to finish up any repair jobs I have here and return them to their owners.

Following that, I will then reconsider if I wish to set up a new agreement to produce the CMD products. I can perform repairs on CMD products without being licensed, so I will at least do that. I have all the equipment and parts to repair CMD products for a very long time.
