I Should correct myself AROS don't work on my system, the CD boots.  Both of them do as in nightly build & snapshot.

> Does the floppy image work?

Last one I tried did

Nope

> Have you set your BIOS to boot from the CD drives?
> Have you ever booted your machine from CD before (Ie. a linux or windoze install CD)?

It boots, just the nightly build brings up workbench & a shell then freezes & the snapshot freezes with the pointer in the top left of an all black screen.

Having tried all the options on the latest nightly build (well yesterdays)

I now get exactly the same as I do on the other machine (which it works on fine) except the mouse & keyboard don't do anything.
