Wow, this is great info... Pre-formatted solid state solutions provided by DiscreetFX sounds awesome! Link to the product perhaps? I do have a few 10GB - 10RPM SCSI drives that I've had stashed away for awhile but solid state sounds like the way to go!
Didn't say I wanted to go cheap... but all the pieces do add up in $$. Besides everthing I've read about the PC editing systems don't even compare to the Amiga Toaster even for it's age. I also checked pricing for a PC editing system - to do the same on a PC as a Toaster system would run between 12K & 15K (for the supposed good stuff that is). A tri-caster would be awesome though! And, I'm having a lot of fun with the Miggys! Not to mention I enjoy the company of A.Org peeps!
OK, so a flyer board it is! A hunting I will go for one! So close! Thanks again for all the great info!
Rog....
EDIT: Can I still get a Flyer board thru DiscreteFX?
