What's wrong with zero feedback? I've bought/sold dozens of things from/to private persons on lots of sites all over the Internet, but never on Ebay. Does that make me a bad buyer if I buy just one thing on Ebay ever? I rather despise that top seller arrogance: "I've sold and bought hundreds of things on Ebay, and you haven't sold/bought anything before, so you are not trustworthy.."

Zerofeedback always has the possibility of a scammer coming back for more. Especially if you're buying an item > $500 as your first buy, it'll make me really nervous if I were the seller.

But no, though I've never dealt with the guy I know for sure that he won't be ripping you off, I've never seen someone complaining after dealing with him since I've started visiting these boards (you can also check his real ebay user
feedback). Feel safe to deal with him, though I'ld rather you sell the board to me for half the auction price for goodness sake
