probably you'll need crossdos handler in L: too, if crossdos is not installed it won't be there.
check if there is an install icon on the crossdos disk for a proper install. remember not to use novice install (especially if you're a novice)
edit : oh sorry i didn't read the second page and see that he solved the crossdos problem.
